Who are you calling a nerd?

Last October my family and I went to Puerto Rico. While we were there we took the kids to see the Arecibo Observatory which is the biggest radio telescope in the world (I think that is right). They have a few interactive displays for visitors to learn more about what it all means. When we left we had this conversation in the car:

Cisco (my brother-in-law) - So Kiara, when we get home you can tell your teacher that on your trip you learned about science stuff.

Kiara (my 7 year-old niece) - I'm not going to do that!

Cisco - and why not?

Kiara - because then my teacher is going to think I'm a nerd!

On that trip I went thru the displays and didn't learn that much about science stuff but I have to admit I am a nerd. As they call me in the house, I am an Art Nerd. I just got my grades for the semester




Although I got to say those are easy classes.
