Quilt at Harrah's Casino

Last month Harrah's Casino in Metropolis, IL came to LowerTown to buy art to decorate their new restaurant Fresh. They bought one of my quilts.

It is called Color Dance and it measures 10" x 50".
Saturday Rob and I went to see the movie Mad Hot Ballroom. It is a documentary about a program in public schools in New York City that teaches kids ballroom dancing. At first I didn't thought it was going to be too intersting but it was very good. Of course there was a team of Hispanic kids and they won. One of the categories was Merenge!

Congratulations, Aynex. I think I remember your working on this long one. Now you'll have to travel there to see it hanging. And maybe it will bring some business your way.

How great is that? I hadn't seen the finished product until now. It is really great. I mentioned to Rob that I get numerous comments on my Father's day gift at work. I hope to remember to bring it with me some time so you can sign it for me. I enjoy looking at it every day!

I did go to Harrah's to see it. It's only 20 minutes away. My friend took pictures with a film camera. When she gets them developed, I'll post them here.
