Mother's Day

I have been a little busy with work. Good for the pocket, not so good for the blog. That is way I'm posting about Mother's Day exactly a month after it happened. Better late than never.

This Mother's Day we went to DC and had lunch at Fogo de Chao. Fogo de Chao is a Brazilian steakhouse with all-you-can-eat (huge) meats that very cute gauchos bring to your table.

Everybody was eating like that was their last meal for a week but the person who eat the most out of all of us was...

Of course that happiness didn't last long.

After dinner we went to Ford's Theater, the theater were Lincoln was shot.

I got to say, being a theater they would benefit from a more dramatic representation of what happened instead of just having a guy tell us the story. Here is where Lincoln was shot.

After we left Ford's Theater, we went for a walk in the city. Here's some interesting shots I took along the way.

It was a good day.
