I almost don't want to post this panting because I think it is horrible but here it goes. Our assignment for this week was to go out and paint plein air. I went with a friend to the Monocacy Battlefield and painted the side of this house. It is amazing how hard it was dealing with the wind and the cold and no place to set up your stuff.

The wind and the cold...exactly why I am a studio painter. Plein air is not for me.
