Kandinsky Sunday - I can fly!

Tuesday was a big day for me. I flew on a plane for the first time. In the morning while the mortal went to vote, I was busy gathering all my cat toys and carefully putting them in a box. I labeled it very clearly so that it wouldn't get lost.
At noon Patience came in. She fooled me because she had a long contraption that had yummy food at the end and put it in front of me so I though it was the magical-yummy-food-gun-from-heaven but it turns out that under the yummy food was a pill. I swallowed the pill an ooooooooh.... I was having a reeaal goooood time. It was grooovy dude! Every thing was moving around me. They put a collar around my neck with my name on it, stuffed my sleepy self in a carrier and off the mortal's mother and I went on a car ride. I don't know how long the car ride was but it was the best car ride ever! Then we got to the airport and they had to take me out of the carrier to check that I wasn't carrying any guns or box cutters with me. I told them "Dude, there is nothing there. Just the mortal's t-shirt, a fishy, and a ball. Just put me back in because you are ruining my buzz." They didn't find any guns so they put me back in and put me on the plane under the mortal's mother seat. The next hours are a blur. All I know is that all of a sudden I find my self in a strange house around strange smells. Someone takes me out of the carrier. I try to walk but my back legs are not working so I'm walking around dragging my butt and it is not very pleasant on the carpet and that is when I see THEM. Their names are Luna and Artemis and they are the enemy. I know that this is their kingdom. They whole place stinks of them but this is not going to be so easy for them because THE DINSK is here now. But first I'm going to wait until the buzz goes away... Ooohh I'm loving me some Maryland right now. Groovy I tell you.

Welcome to Maryland, Aynex. I'm glad that Dinsky had a comfortable trip and I hope you did too. I hope your transition to living in Maryland goes smoothly for you and your family. I'll be thinking about you and hope your surgery has you up and moving pain free and steady on your feet in no time. I'm happy that you have such a great blog so I can keep up with what's happening in your world these days. Take care. Nina
