The Colunga Quilt

A friend of a friend in Puerto Rico is obsessed with Fernando Colunga, a mexican actor. She comissioned me to make her a quilt of him. She sent me a lot of pictures of him. I spent a lot of time looking at his pictures to decide which one I should work on. Rob started getting jealous of this guy until I told him it was all research. I finished the quilt in a few days and used the same technique and style on the Memoirs of a Geisha quilt. I like how it turned out a lot but the only problem is that I don't think it looks like him at all. We'll see what she says.
