Paducation

Today was my first day back in MD and I miss Paducah. Here are some of the highlights.

Brian Steffen, the bartender at DiFrattelli, made a drink in my honor, the Aynextini. He made it after he made one for my BFF Nikki and I got jealous and threatened him. It was delicious!! It is more of a dessert drink. It tastes like a chocolate covered cherry. He told me the ingredients but I was too busy drinking and wasn't listening. As Mary would say, aren't we cute, cute, cute together! No doubt about it.

I went from cute guy to an even cuter guy. Here Bill and I traded hats.

Nora Brown is a truly 21st century baby. She is too busy to look up to the camera because she is watching the new Sesame Street podcast on her iPod.

On Saturday I went to see the Hank Brothers play at Doe's and it was a great show. I was sitting in an awkward place so I didn't get any good pictures of the band except this one.

My BFF Nikki is never too far away from her dirty martini.

Aren't they cute?

I saw the title of your blog "introducing Kandinsky" then I saw the pic of your cat - I thought she must know the artist K. -when you like moderns, I like Paul Klee very much too, and of course Karel Appel (he's in S. America) and Mondriaan, but that is because I am Dutch. Visit my web site sometime www(dot)stgermainart(dot)com, and you'll find my art-cheers-glad to have met you, jeannette
