Feliz Cumpleanos!

Yes, you heard correctly. I'm leaving Paducah. I need a new hip and a new life which could be a hipper life. I have mixed feelings about the move. I am sad and excited and nervous all at the same time. But change is always a good thing. I have met some great people here and this place will always have a special place in my heart. Everyone has given me so much and I'm a better person than the person that came here four years ago. Has it only been four years? I am a much better artist, I know a lot more about design and have many things to add to my portfolio and hopefully get a job somewhere. I started making videos and did some funny things. I am the class clown. I had my first real job. I almost got my license. Still working on that. But most of all what Paducah has given me is confidence in myself. We'll see what that confidence does in the real world...

This is a masterpiece. You have so much talent, but you made me cry. I don't want you to go. That's all. What a huge hole you will leave. You are our Queen. How can we be without a Queen?
You must tell us that you will be back. Otherwise we will die of sadness and that won't be good for business. Or for us.

I don't want you to leave either! I am going to tie myself to a tree and protest! I was only trying to help you with your English! It even had me confused a little bit. I will miss you!

I loved this video - so sweet and touching and full of love. Both for your grandfather and for Paducah.

Hopefully your move in with your sister will be as good as your move to Kentucky was!

I'm sad you are leaving. I get so happy whenever I see you with your camera or your bike. I love watching your movies and seeing your quilts. Oh - Jason, Ben and I will ALL miss you so much.

Oh Aynex, I am sad for me, but know it is probably the right thing for you to do. I have enjoyed knowing you, even just a little bit. You add so much just by being you. I hope you will be at the meeting on Monday, and, I hope I can get there. Flooding, you know. Best wishes always. Rosemary

Aynex, you could have homecare nurses, therapy, aides and recover after hip surgery at home here in Paducah. Have you checked into that?? I will help you...think about it. We can talk about this more on Monday, maybe you can stay??? Irene Reising (a former homecare nurse as well as a longarm quilt artist!!)
