Now onto brighter subjects...

This is Flat Stanley.

He suffered an unfortunate accident at school. A bulletin board fell on him and he was flattened. The good thing is that now he fits into a regular size envelope and is able to be mailed to different parts of the world. Stanley goes to school with Kiara, my 6-year-old niece.

In Kiara's class, they are learning about maps and geography. She mailed Flat Stanley to me in Paducah and he is going to stay with me for a few days getting to know the town better and then go back to his class and report his findings. Here he is in front of one of my quilts. Where should I take Stanley?

To Casa Renzulli of course. For risotto.
Do NOT let the dogs get near him, or he'll be worse than flat!

If Kiara is learning about geography and maps, Flat Stanley has to go to the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers. Be careful if it's windy or the gulls are hungry.

Oh, Patience, this is the same school that does the Renzulli Project so Stanley will be dining with a celebrity!
