Bossie The Cow

Here is a picture of my latest quilt. I made it for a new cafe in Lowertown called The Stranded Cow. That was the name of the house when they bought it. The story goes than in 1937 when there was a huge flood in Lowertown (we are next to the Ohio River). The water came up to the second floor in some houses. The owner of that house had a cow named Bossie. He didn't wanted the cow to die in the flood so he put the cow on the second floor of the house and would come on a boat every day to feed the cow. There is even a picture of the cow on the second floor balcony in National Geographic.
By the way, this is my post #100!
