Yesterday I got two good news. I will be working permanently at Computer Source part-time. The other good news is that I sold a quilt. It is the biggest quilt I have ever made and one of my best work, I think. It is called Cielo de Noviembre (November Sky).
I received a call yesterday morning from the store downtown Market @315 where it was hanging. They told me that there was a couple interested in buying it. For a few months now I have been going thru an artistic crisis and I have thought several times of stop quilting all together. While I waited for the call from the store to see if it had sold or not, I thought, if it sells maybe that is a sign that I should keep quilting. That afternoon I got the call. The quilt sold and they want more of my work for the store. So I guess it is time to turn the sewing machine back on and see what comes out.
